Québec

In October 2001, we spent a week in Québec, Canada. There still was some changing of the colors and the weather was beginning to turn a little crisp. The seasonal crowds had left and so many of the little tourist shops were closed.

PlaceRoyal was the original settlement of of Québec. After the fortifications were completed, the Place Royal was abandoned to commerical ventures and later it became a slum. After urban renewal, the area is now trendy.
